Celler Mas Doix aims to capture the essence of Priorat in precise wines with depth, freshness and longevity. The family works organically and tends old Garnacha and Cariñena vines by hand on steep slopes. The aim is not maximum extraction, but a balanced interpretation of grape, vintage and llicorella soil, with respect for the landscape.

The wine-growing history of the Doix and Llagostera families in Poboleda dates back to 1902. Mas Doix owns high-altitude plots with old, and sometimes very old, vines on poor slate soils. Its viticulture has been organically certified since 2016. The cool location around Poboleda and separate processing of individual plots support a refined, terroir-driven Priorat style.

1902 Tossal d’en Bou by Celler Mas Doix is a dry red wine from the 2023 vintage. The wine is made from Cariñena. The alcohol content is 14.5%. Expect red and dark fruit in the glass, complemented by spice, balanced structure and tannins that provide grip without overwhelming the fruit. Celler Mas Doix works steep Priorat vineyards on llicorella soils in Poboleda, combining ripe fruit with freshness and mineral tension. Serve at cellar temperature with roast meat, mushrooms, stews, pulses or mature cheese.
