Who we are
What began as a personal interest in wine has gradually developed into a tremendous passion, with sustainability becoming increasingly central. More and more initiatives are emerging to make production more sustainable, but in our view they still receive too little attention in Europe. We would like to change that.
We are now a group of enthusiasts who share the same passion: bringing sustainable wine to the attention of a wider audience.
What began as a personal fascination with organic and biodynamic viticulture therefore grew into a broader initiative to make these distinctive wines more visible, accessible and understandable in an objective way — for enthusiasts and the curious alike.
We believe that wine is about more than taste alone. Behind every bottle lies a story about the soil, the climate, the vineyard and the way the producer works with nature. Organic wines are produced without synthetic pesticides or artificial fertilisers, while biodynamic viticulture goes a step further: the vineyard is treated as a balanced, living ecosystem, often with due regard for the lunar and seasonal calendar.
We believe that this careful, artisanal approach deserves greater appreciation — not only for the taste, but also for what it means for the soil, biodiversity and the people who make these wines.
Our mission is to encourage sales closer to the source — in other words, directly from wine producers.
Our aim is to make these wines accessible to a diverse audience: from seasoned wine connoisseurs to people discovering organic or biodynamic wine for the first time, and from hospitality businesses looking to make their wine lists more sustainable to private customers who wish to buy more consciously. Anyone interested in wine with a story and a clear provenance has come to the right place.
We began close to home, in the Benelux, where we are systematically mapping which producers, vineyards and wines are genuinely certified — including labels such as Skal, EU Organic and Demeter — so that quality and authenticity remain paramount. Building on this robust, well-researched foundation in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg, we are working towards a broader European overview.
We are not a large commercial certification body or importer, but a dedicated team that believes in transparency, careful research and a genuine love of wine made with respect for people and nature.
