Vineyard of Marco Carpineti

Marco Carpineti aims to renew winegrowing in the Monti Lepini by placing indigenous grapes, organic farming and biodynamic methods at the centre. The estate seeks a balance between tradition and experimentation and aims to make wines that reflect the volcanic and limestone soils around Cori. Biodiversity and minimal impact on the landscape guide decisions in the vineyard and cellar.

The family business has worked without synthetic chemicals since 1986 and has been described as certified organic since 1994, with Suolo e Salute as the inspection body. Marco Carpineti is best known for local varieties such as Bellone and Nero Buono. Alongside still wine, the estate makes sparkling wine and experiments with amphorae; Demeter certification has not been established.
