Vineyard of Poggio Lupo

Poggio Lupo aims to make wines that combine drinkability, local identity and ecological responsibility. The business works organically and uses modern knowledge without dominating the landscape. Its philosophy starts from the belief that people are part of a larger ecosystem; healthy soil, balanced grapes and an honest expression of each vintage therefore take priority.

The vineyards are located near Allerona, north of Orvieto, in a peaceful area close to the Monte Peglia and Selva di Meana nature reserve. Poggio Lupo works with local white varieties such as Verdello, Grechetto and Procanico, alongside international varieties. The range includes organic still wines, bag-in-box wines and a traditional-method sparkling wine. Bioagricert is named as the certification body.
