Tenute Nicosia aims to combine Etna's volcanic identity with Sicilian hospitality, family knowledge and modern quality management. The producer invests in sustainable vineyard practices and develops both classic and organic wine ranges. The aim is to make approachable yet characterful wines in which local grapes, differences in altitude and lava soils remain recognisable, without assigning the same profile to every product line.

The family business is based in Trecastagni on the south-eastern side of Etna and works with vineyards at different altitudes. Nerello Mascalese and Carricante are important local varieties, alongside Sicilian grapes from other areas. Organic certification applies to explicitly identified ranges, including Hybla Bio and Bio Vegan; ICEA is named for Bio Vegan, not for the complete range.
