Vineyard of Domaine Krier-Bisenius

Domaine Krier-Bisenius is an organic family estate in Bech-Kleinmacher. In 2012, Jean-Paul Krier made a deliberate decision to convert to organic farming, allowing him to continue his craft with renewed conviction and care for the vineyard. The wines combine ripe fruit with the character of the marl-rich soils of the southern Luxembourg Moselle.

The family has worked the land around Bech-Kleinmacher since 1590. The estate covers approximately seven to 7.5 hectares, with plots including Falkenberg, Naumberg, Kolteschberg, Foulschette and Felsberg. Krier-Bisenius was an early producer of crémant under the Charta Luxembourg and also makes Pinot wines and oak-aged cuvées, among others.
