Forty Hall Vineyard combines certified organic viticulture with a clear social mission. As a community project in North London, the estate aims to produce high-quality English wine, connect people with farming and nature, and support mental health and wellbeing.

Forty Hall is an organic community vineyard of approximately four hectares in North London. Volunteers tend the vines, and the proceeds support social and therapeutic activities. Its range includes Bacchus, Ortega and London Brut. The vineyard is located at Forty Hall Farm, part of Capel Manor College, and is regarded as London’s first commercial-scale vineyard since the Middle Ages.

2023 Bacchus from Forty Hall Vineyard is a dry still white wine. In aroma and taste, the emphasis is on lime, gooseberry, elderflower and a light grassy spiciness. The wine combines lively acidity with a bright fruit expression and a fresh, usually clean finish. The wine is made from Bacchus; the alcohol content is 11%. Serve chilled as an aperitif or with fish, seafood, fresh salads, goat cheese and light vegetable dishes.
