Offbeat Wines
Certified:
Yes
Offbeat Wines makes small batches of natural English wine by hand. Guided by a biodynamically inspired philosophy, the estate favours healthy grapes, spontaneous processes and minimal additions, allowing the wines to remain lively and clearly express their origin.
Daniel and Nicola Ham work from Botley’s Farm in Wiltshire. The winery is certified by the Biodynamic Association (BDA) for organic processing; the certification status of purchased grapes varies by cuvée. Production is small-scale, and cellar-door sales are available by appointment. Offbeat uses indigenous yeasts, few additions and a range of vessels; checking the label remains important because organic status may vary from one wine to another.
