Quinta dos Murças is an organic Douro estate within the Esporão group. Through careful plot management and respect for the riverside landscape, the estate aims to make refined wines that express the altitude, aspect and diversity of the historic property.

Known for a vertically planted ‘vinha ao alto’ vineyard dating from 1947; fully certified organic. The producer is based in Covelinhas, Peso da Régua and operates within Douro (DOP). In this workbook, organic status is confirmed. The recorded scope is EU Organic (entire vineyard certified; all wines from the 2021 harvest onwards). Other products or vintages are not automatically covered.
