Sedlescombe Organic Vineyard is a pioneer of organic and biodynamic viticulture in East Sussex. Through healthy soils, biodiversity and minimal chemical use, the estate aims to produce authentic English wines and show visitors how sustainable viticulture works in practice.

Founded in 1979, the vineyard is regarded as England’s oldest organic wine producer. Its biodynamic cuvées are Demeter-certified. Varieties grown include Solaris, Regent, Monarch and Pinot Noir. Visitors can discover the historic estate through tours, tastings, lunches and overnight stays; winemaking at this site began in 1979.

Old Vine from 2017 from Sedlescombe Organic Vineyard is a dry still white wine. In aroma and taste, the emphasis is on apple, pear, citrus and subtle floral or spicy accents. The wine combines lively acidity with a bright fruit expression and a fresh, usually clean finish. The wine is made from Blend; the alcohol content is 11%. Serve chilled as an aperitif or with fish, seafood, fresh salads, goat cheese and light vegetable dishes.
