Vineyard of Vignoble Ste-Pétronille

Vignoble Ste-Pétronille is a family project that brings together tradition, innovation and respect for nature. By prioritising soil life, biodiversity and minimal intervention, the estate aims to make authentic wines that reflect the terroir of Île d’Orléans.

The estate has been certified organic since 2021. Grape pomace is also used to produce organic eau-de-vie, while local apples are combined with grape must to create a distinctive cider—a circular approach with a strong island character.

This sweet white wine from Vignoble Ste-Pétronille, L'insula Blanc, has an approachable profile. The blend of Acadie, Frontenac Blanc suggests a flavour profile of ripe berries, cherry and spicy notes, with the fresh acidity of cool-climate grapes. The sweet designation helps to place the balance between fruit, acidity and any residual sweetness. With 17% alcohol, the wine has an appropriate intensity for this style. Serve well chilled with fruit desserts, blue cheese or as a small glass after a meal.
