Vineyard of Wijngaard De Genenberg

Wijngaard De Genenberg is a young Limburg vineyard on the former bed of the River Meuse near Broekhuizen. The family works organically and keeps as much of the process as possible in-house, from vineyard work and hand harvesting to fermentation, bottling and labelling. The aim is to make approachable local products that distinctly reflect the soil, climate and craftsmanship of North Limburg.

The vineyard was planted in 2020 and covers approximately 1 hectare, with about 2,400 vines of eight varieties, including Souvignier Gris, Satin Noir, Cabernet Cortis, Pinotin and Cabertin. The range consists of white, red and rosé wine, as well as the blueberry wine Blauwe Moan. Production is carried out entirely in-house.
