Zwirs vineyard produces organic Dutch wine with biodiversity and natural balance as its guiding principles. The family strengthens soil life and resilience with compost tea, flower strips, clover and space for insects, fungi and animals. Its ambition goes beyond wine: Zwirs is developing into a mixed farm that also produces vegetables, fruit, eggs and honey. In this way, the business aims to bring agriculture, nature and social ideals together sustainably.

The first grapes were planted in 2003 by the brothers Atze and Sanne Zwirs. The vineyard covers approximately 1.2 hectares and has more than 5,000 vines of Solaris, Johanniter, Cabernet Cortis and Souvignier Gris. A tasting room opened in 2014. Visitors can take part in tours, tastings and corporate events, and volunteers help on the farm.
